Zendaya has not shared a birth time in public. Zendaya was born on 1 September 1996, in Oakland, California according to Wikipedia, and the date alone gives a Virgo Sun and an Aries or Taurus Moon. The Moon moved into Taurus at about 5:19 am, so for most of that day it was a Taurus Moon.
No birth time for Zendaya comes from Zendaya. What does exist is a birth record: an astrology researcher obtained a birth certificate, and Astro-Databank and Astrotheme list it with their top AA rating. That record isn't something Zendaya chose to share, so this page doesn't draw a chart from it and sticks to what the date makes certain. Fans have every reason to be curious; the kind answer is to let any time come from Zendaya first.
The birthplace differs too. Wikipedia gives Oakland, while the astrology databases, going by that certificate, name Walnut Creek, a short drive east. For the signs on this page it makes no difference: the two towns share the same sky to within a fraction of a degree.
Virgo is the sign of skill, attention and quiet excellence, and the Sun here sits in a smooth trine to Jupiter in Capricorn. That pairing rewards careful work with steady, well-earned growth, the kind that builds a long career one thoughtful choice at a time.
Venus and Mars meet in Cancer, almost exactly together. Affection and ambition pull in the same direction, toward family, a close circle and the people worth protecting. Both sit opposite Neptune, the planet of film, imagination and glamour, which lends a gift for becoming someone else on screen and making it look effortless.
Mercury in Libra, in a flowing trine to Uranus, speaks with poise and fairness and has an instinct for style. The Moon most likely sits in Taurus, a calm, grounded place for feelings, loyal and fond of simple comforts. Before about 5:19 am it would be in Aries instead, bold and quick to act. Saturn in Aries adds the courage to take the lead and the patience to keep at it.
The rising sign and the houses are the parts of a chart that turn on the hour and the minute, so they stay open here. The researcher's record gives 6:01 pm, which would put the rising sign in Aquarius and the Moon in Taurus, in either Oakland or Walnut Creek. Since that comes from a document rather than from Zendaya, it stays a possibility here.
