Jimin's birth time hasn't been confirmed, and the one most often quoted can be read two ways. What's certain is the date and place: 13 October 1995, in Geumjeong District, Busan, South Korea. That gives a Libra Sun and a Gemini Moon, two air signs, with Venus, Mars and Pluto gathered in Scorpio.
The time most often linked to Jimin is 11:58, and the story behind it deserves care. Astrotheme lists 11:58 and says it came from Jimin on Twitter, but no such post can be found. In September 2022 a fan account tweeted that Jimin had shared a birth time, and fans have debated ever since whether it meant late morning or nearly midnight. Without the original post there's no way to settle AM or PM, so this page uses neither. Two other times, 10:34 PM and 10:43 PM, appear in fan lists and Quora answers with no source given.
The Sun was in Libra on 13 October 1995, at 19°, with Mercury in Libra as well. Libra is the sign of grace, balance and beauty, with a natural talent for bringing people together. Mercury there speaks with tact and charm, and its retrograde motion adds a reflective, take-a-second-look way of thinking. The Moon was in Gemini at every hour, from about 4° at midnight to 16°, so any birth time gives the same curious, lively, talkative Moon. With the Sun and Moon both in air signs, heart and mind flow easily together.
Venus, Mars and Pluto all sit in Scorpio. That trio brings depth, intensity and devotion: love that commits fully, and a drive that never gives up. Mars makes easy sextiles to Neptune and Uranus, each within about two degrees, adding imagination and a flash of originality to that Scorpio focus. Jupiter in Sagittarius, one of its own signs, opens everything up with generosity and optimism.
Only a confirmed time can give the rising sign and the houses, and here the AM-or-PM question changes everything. Worked out for Busan, a birth at 11:58 AM would put the rising sign in late Sagittarius, at about 27°, with the Sun in the 10th house near the top of the chart. A birth at 11:58 PM would put the rising sign in late Cancer, at about 28°, and move the Sun down to the 4th house, at the base of the chart. The two fan-list evening times, 10:34 PM and 10:43 PM, would also land the rising sign in Cancer. Twelve hours apart, the same minute draws two very different charts, so these stay possibilities until there's a confirmed answer.
